Two Months, 52 Posts, and Still Swinging
I started this blog on June 28 with one quiet story about burnt toast, tempo, and the power of small things. At the time, I didn’t know if I could keep up the rhythm. Now, just two months later, I’ve written 52 articles.
By the end of August, every one of them was already scheduled out. That means by the time my 50th post goes live in the middle of October, the entire stack of 52 will already be lined up and ready. It feels a little like showing up to the first tee with every shot already mapped out in your yardage book, the plan is in place, all that’s left is execution.
What surprised me most is how the writing itself has become a habit. Some days it’s golf, some days it’s food, and other days it’s leadership or life, but each one sharpens the others. The act of writing daily is a kind of journaling. It’s shown me patterns in my thinking, just like a golf journal shows recurring swing faults or a food diary reveals digestion triggers.
The posts I least expect often end up resonating the most. That’s a lesson golf taught me a long time ago: you can’t always predict which swing will become the story, but you can show up prepared.
Looking forward, I’ve mapped the next series:
- Performance Journaling: a hub piece on why journaling matters, with deep dives into food and golf.
- 中庸 (Balance): a two-part series on balance across life stages, golf, and decision-making.
- Luck Is a Skill We Can Learn: a standalone essay on how preparation shapes 好運 (Luck).
Two months in, I feel like I’m just getting warmed up.
If you’ve been following along, I’d love to hear: which post has stayed with you so far?
