What I’ve Built So Far (90 days)

Over these three months, I’ve written and organized more than a hundred posts.
Golf lessons. Food stories. Leadership reflections.
Even a few experiments with AI and creativity.

Each post started as a small note or idea — something that made me pause, something worth remembering.
And somehow, piece by piece, those notes turned into a system.

Now I have series in motion:

  • How I Teach Golf – my swing theory and teaching process.
  • Cooking Stories and Recipes – lessons from the kitchen that taste like memory.
  • AI and Creativity – projects, reflections, and tools I’ve built at Sugarbush.
  • Gratitude Series – written for the mentors who shaped me.

The part I didn’t expect was how writing would change the way I see my own work.
Golf, food, business — they all come down to the same principle:
Improvement starts with awareness.

What I’ve Learned

Writing consistently is a lot like working on your golf swing.
Some days, it feels effortless. Other days, it’s pure grind.
But you keep showing up — not to chase perfection, but to stay aware.

I’ve learned that clarity grows through repetition.
That structure gives you freedom.
And that sharing your thoughts publicly builds discipline faster than keeping them private.

The analytics, newsletters, and site layout — they’re tools.
But the real value is in the moments when a line lands right, or when someone quietly subscribes because they found something that resonated.

What Comes Next

The next stage isn’t about more posts.
It’s about refinement — internal linking, featured images, swing photos, and a better reader experience.
And it’s about connection — sending a weekly newsletter that feels like a conversation between friends.

If you’ve been reading, commenting, or subscribing — thank you.
You’re part of this small but growing rhythm that started as a quiet experiment.

Follow along for what’s next.
One story at a time, MyJLStory keeps unfolding.
